Umar Abdul Rahman
Umar started his legal career working as a law clerk at Hogan & Vandenberg, but he began to gravitate towards immigration law in law school. From working with a civil rights organization immediately after college to becoming one of our attorneys of counsel, Umar built his experience with Deportation Defense, focusing on helping clients stay in the U.S. as a family. Umar speaks Urdu, Punjabi, and basic Arabic.
Umar holds a bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University, a J.D. from Temple University School of Law, and a master’s degree from Hartford Seminary. He is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia.
