Marcos Estrada

Marcos is the litigation paralegal for Hogan & Vandenberg. As a student at Swarthmore College, he served as President of the Students for Immigrants Rights organization and was also part of the leadership of the Latinx Student Organization (ENLACE). Aside from these experiences, he is an immigrant himself and witnessed not only the challenges his parents faced but also how they managed to overcome obstacles. Marcos is very involved with all matters related to migration/immigration from Central and South America.

Marcos has a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience & Spanish and speaks English and Spanish.

Gursimran Pannu

Gursimran Pannu is a litigation paralegal for Hogan & Vandenberg – PA. Growing up close to the India-Pakistan border gives Pannu a great understanding of how Immigration plays a role in shaping a country’s perspective. As a student, he had the opportunity to learn more about the story of refugees and gain experience building trust among vulnerable immigrant communities. Additionally, he is an immigrant himself, seeing first-hand the intricacies of American immigration agencies. Pannu has a BA in Political Science, Art History, and Mathematics from Swarthmore College, and is fluent in English, Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi, and basic Pashto and Nepali.

Naran Badma-Garyaev

Naran is a litigation paralegal for Hogan & Vandenberg – Philadelphia office. With years of experience working as a corporate and litigation attorney abroad, he is prepared to work with all the intricacies of the judicial system. Plus, as an immigrant himself, he experienced the difficulties of going through the process on his own and knows immigrants need professional assistance to navigate through immigration agencies in the United States. Naran has a BA from the Higher School of Economics and Moscow and is fluent in English, Russian, and intermediate Chinese.
